Meriba Omasker Kaziw Kazipa (Torres Strait Islander Traditional Child Rearing Practice) Act 2020

The Act, which was passed in September 2020 and came into force on 1 July 2021, establishes a process for Torres Strait Islander people to apply for legal recognition of Torres Strait Islander traditional child rearing practices.
